Go US 27 or State Route 62 to Wartburg, TN. WHEN TO VISIT Open year round. POINTS OF INTEREST The Obed River and its two main tributaries, Clear Creek and Daddy's Creek, cut into the Cumberland Plateau of East Tennessee, providing some of the most rugged scenery in the southeast. Forty-five miles of streams are protected within the Park. Elevations range from 800 to 1,500 feet. ACTIVITIES Visitor Center; museum/exhibits; picnic areas; swimming; boating; fishing; hunting. GENERAL INFORMATION Limited Federal Facilities. Development within the Park is very limited. Nearby campgrounds are at Frozen Head State Park, Wartburg, TN.
